The Dark Colosseum

Everyone wants to return to normal. The nobles are busy repairing the fractured city power grid. Minerva Walsh, along with all the rest of the Calendula University students, just wish to resume their lives after surviving the dreadful curse which so devastated Amaryllis. But Minerva is about to discover the past is not so quick to forgive and forget.

Olivia Prescott is especially unsatisfied. She, along with her vindictive grandmother and Laura Vantrease, convince themselves in their obsession that Minerva is responsible for her sister’s murder—and will stop at nothing to implicate her. The end result is Minerva being thrown into a horror-filled prison few are unfortunate enough to even know about, referred to as the dark colosseum. Deep in its grim caverns, a dark and omnipotent aura reigns which renders Minerva’s powers useless.

In this place, Minerva must play by new and gruesome rules which pit her as a contestant in gladiator-style blood sports. Rescue efforts from her friends are soon hindered by the lingering effects of the curse which begin to erase Minerva from their memories. If the process completes before Minerva finds a way to help them find her, she realizes she may never escape the diabolical entrapment of the dark colosseum alive. And time is running out.
